KH’s Biography
KH is a professional artist from Boston MA who currently resides in Harlem NY. He has been training in tap dancing for 27 years and holds a Masters Degree in Performing Arts Administration from NYU. As a professional, He has performed as a featured artist at colleges and theaters in 38 cities nationwide in the US and Canada. As a dance instructor and educator, he has taught master classes and lectured at Gordon College, the University of North Carolina, Bridgewater State University and Lehman College. His credits include: Bounce (in Disney World) with Mogee & Friends; the first national tour of Bring in Da’ Noise, Bring in Da’ Funk under the direction of George C Wolfe; The Jerry Lewis Telethon 2006 in Las Vegas; Invitations To A Dancer with Savion Glover; Cholesterol Low Down (national tour) with Debbie Allen and Dick Clark. His most recent performance was in Berlin where he performed at the Bread and Butter Fashion Week Festival to help promote the Fall of 2012 attire of the Floris Van Bommel shoe company. He has performed as a featured soloist for Hillary Clinton, Bill Irwin and Maya Angelou.
KH has also provided choreography and artistic direction for numerous productions, including The Urban Nutcracker in Boston (9 seasons), The Prison Break Conference in Rhode Island, Chosen in North Carolina (in collaboration with A Chosen Few Inc.) and The Medicine Showdown in Atlanta and St Louis. He is known for his intricate “rapid-fire” footwork that has impressed audiences across the US.
