SS  is a saxophonist, flutist, and actor, has performed throughout the United States, Europe, the Caribbean, New Zealand and the former Soviet Union. He has appeared at Jordan and Symphony Halls in Boston, Carnegie Recital Hall and Town Hall in New York, and at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. He has played with the Boston Pops and the Villages People and performed with jazz greats Yusef Lateef, Herbie Mann, Pharoah Sanders, Danilo Pares and Marlena Shaw. He has opened up for Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins and the Bare Naked Ladies. He has received many awards including the prestigious Eliot Norton Award for Outstanding Solo Performance in theatre for his one man show, Coming Up For Air.
