The 20-25 piece BF Orchestra performs a variety of music in the style of the world-renowned Boston Pops Orchestra. The orchestra’s repertoire is culled from time- honored shows such as West Side Story and Porgy and Bess, as well as a unique blend of “Boston” musical influences from Celtic to Patriotic to Swing. With musical salutes to some of the icons of American pop music like Elvis, Ray Charles and Buddy Holly, there is something for everyone – even a sing-a- long! Many of the musicians in the BF Orchestra perform regularly with The Boston Pops, and deliver that same combination of highly skilled musical performances in a fun and entertaining way.
